Purpose of Collection: To ensure the safety and well-being of your pet, provide appropriate care, and comply with health and safety protocols.
C. Sensitive Access and Location Data
Data Collected: Home access information (e.g., key codes, garage codes, lockbox codes, key location) and GPS location data derived from the use of collars/trackers during services.
Purpose of Collection:
Access: To securely enter and exit your home to perform the scheduled Services.
GPS Data: To track the route and duration of walks/hikes for service verification, safety monitoring, and quality assurance.
D. Photo, Video, and Media Data
Data Collected: Photographs, video recordings, and other media captured by Adventure Pack staff of your pet(s) during the performance of the Services.
Purpose of Collection: To create "dog reports" for the owner, for promotional and marketing purposes, and for social media sharing, as further detailed in the Terms of Service & Liability Waiver.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
Service Delivery: To manage appointments, provide the requested pet care, and ensure reliable access to your home.
Communication: To send essential service-related text messages, emails, and updates (e.g., walker arrival/departure, emergency alerts).
Marketing (With Consent): To send promotional text messages and emails, where you have provided express consent in the Terms of Service.
Safety and Security: To monitor the location of pets during off-leash activities (via GPS) and ensure the security of client properties.
Improvement: To analyze service delivery quality and optimize routes and processes.
3. How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your Personal Data seriously. We implement robust physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Home Access Codes: Sensitive access codes are stored securely, often separately from client names, and are only accessible by staff actively assigned to your Services.
GPS Data: Location data is collected for internal verification and safety purposes and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage: We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols for our digital records (e.g., scheduling software, payment processors).

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of Adventure Pack, or ensure the personal safety of users of the Services or the public.
Veterinary Emergencies: In case of emergency, we will share necessary pet health information with the designated veterinarian.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Opt-Out of Marketing: You can opt-out of marketing communications at any time. For marketing texts, reply STOP. For marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link provided in the email. Opting out of marketing does not prevent you from receiving necessary service-related messages.
Revocation of Media Release: As stated in the Terms of Service, you may revoke permission for the use of your pet’s media for future promotional purposes by notifying us in writing.
Access and Correction: You may request access to the personal data we hold about you and request corrections to any inaccuracies.
