About

Adventure Pack was founded in Scarsdale to give dogs more than just a walk around the block. Led by Dany Torres since 2020 and her trusted golden retriever, Quincy, we bring pups together for safe, small-group hikes and personalized walks that spark joy, build friendships, and leave tails wagging—and dogs happily tired.

Dog Hiking Service FAQs

  • We operate our dog hiking services in most weather, but reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services if conditions are unsafe (lightning, extreme temperatures, dangerous trail conditions).

  • Not right away. We evaluate recall, behavior, and comfort level. Many dogs earn off-leash freedom over time. Dogs that don’t meet those criteria remain leashed during higher-risk moments. We also use GPS trackers for added safety.

  • Packs are intentionally small and curated—generally 4–6 dogs, sometimes up to 8–10 depending on compatibility, terrain, and staffing—to ensure every pup gets attention.

  • Group hikes are typically 60–90 minutes on curated trails. Dogs are picked up, transported to the trail, and returned home happy and tired.
