Harrison Dog Care That Goes Beyond the Basics
Harrison is a town where people take care of what matters. Beautiful homes, excellent schools, strong community. And for the many Harrison families with dogs, that same standard of care extends to their pets. You don't want someone who shows up, clips on a leash, walks around the block, and calls it done. You want real enrichment.
Adventure Pack was built for exactly this expectation. Founded in 2020 by Dany Torres in nearby Scarsdale, we built our reputation on one simple idea: dogs need real adventure, not just a walk. Our guided trail hikes take dogs into Westchester's parks and preserves for 60 to 90 minutes of genuine outdoor exploration with a small, carefully matched pack.
Harrison's east Westchester location gives us access to beautiful trail systems in both the county parks and the nature preserves along the Sound Shore. Your dog gets variety, challenge, and stimulation that no backyard or neighborhood walk can match.
Our Harrison Dog Services
Trail Hikes (Group Adventures)
Our signature service. Your dog joins a small group of compatible dogs for a guided hike through curated trails, led by an experienced handler.
- Pack size: 4-6 dogs, matched by temperament, energy, and size
- Duration: 60-90 minutes on trail
- Includes: Home pickup and drop-off, photo/video updates, basic cleaning and towel dry
- Pricing: $60/hike (1x/week) or $50/hike (2+ times/week — save 15%)
Off-leash privileges are available for dogs who pass our recall and behavior evaluation. We take this seriously — your dog's safety and the safety of the pack always come first.

Where We Hike Near Harrison
Harrison's position between the Sound Shore communities and central Westchester gives us excellent trail access in multiple directions:
- Cranberry Lake Preserve — 190 acres of hardwood forest with trails ranging from easy to challenging. The lake, rock outcroppings, and diverse terrain make this one of the most engaging hike locations for dogs in Westchester.
- Saxon Woods Park — An extensive park system with miles of wooded trails, open areas, and varied elevation. We use it frequently for higher-energy groups.
- Marshlands Conservancy — A 147-acre coastal preserve near Rye with salt marsh trails and woodland paths. Excellent for dogs who love water-adjacent exploration.
- Rye Nature Center — 47 acres of forest trails with bridges and ponds. A more contained environment that works well for smaller, calmer groups.
Our handlers select the trail location based on the pack's composition, the weather, and current trail conditions. Harrison dogs get variety — no two weeks of hiking look the same.
Why Harrison Dog Owners Choose Adventure Pack

- Professional handlers. Trained in canine behavior and first aid. Fully insured. Working under the direction of founder Dany Torres, who has been working with dogs professionally since 2012.
- Complete transparency. Photo and video updates from every outing. You see exactly where your dog went and what they did.
- Westchester-based, Westchester-focused. We're a local company with deep roots in this community — not a tech platform matching you with strangers.

Frequently Asked Questions — Harrison Dog Services
What parts of Harrison do you serve?
All of Harrison — including West Harrison, Purchase, and Silver Lake. We also serve the neighboring towns of Rye, Scarsdale, Eastchester, Bronxville, Ardsley, and Tuckahoe.
How many dogs are in a group hike?
Generally 4 to 6, sometimes up to 8-10 depending on compatibility, terrain, and staffing. We keep packs intentionally small so every dog gets attention. More details on our hiking services page.
Is my older dog a good fit for group hikes?
It depends on their fitness level and temperament. Some senior dogs love the pack energy and do great on moderate trails. Others are better suited to our 1:1 walking service where they can go at their own pace. We'll assess this during the meet and greet.
What are your hours?
We operate Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekend availability from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hikes are typically scheduled during midday. Visit our FAQ page for full operational details.
