Dog Boarding in Westchester, NY
Adventure Pack is building a dog boarding service in Westchester County with something no other local boarding facility offers: daily trail hikes included. Your dog won't spend their stay in a kennel run or a concrete yard. They'll be out on real trails every single day — exploring, socializing, and burning energy the way dogs are meant to. We're currently accepting waitlist signups for our first boarding clients.
Boarding Built Around Adventure, Not Cages
Most dog boarding in Westchester follows the same model: your dog stays in a facility with indoor-outdoor runs, gets a few short potty breaks, maybe some group play time in a fenced yard. It's supervised. It's safe. But it's not enriching. Your dog spends most of their stay waiting — waiting for the next break, waiting for you to come back.
Adventure Pack boarding works differently. We built our reputation on guided trail hikes, and boarding is a natural extension of that same philosophy. When your dog boards with us, they don't just get a place to sleep. They get a full daily adventure — the same 60-to-90-minute trail hikes that our regular hiking clients rave about.
Think about it from your dog's perspective: instead of pacing a kennel while you're on vacation, they're out in the woods with a small pack, sniffing new trails, splashing through streams, and coming back to rest in a comfortable home environment. It's closer to a dog vacation than traditional boarding.
What Makes Our Boarding Different
Daily Trail Hikes
Every boarding dog gets a full guided trail hike each day of their stay. This isn't optional or an add-on — it's built into the service. Your dog stays physically tired and mentally stimulated, which means they're calmer, happier, and less stressed throughout their stay.
Small-Group, Home-Style Care
We don't operate a large kennel facility. Our boarding is small-scale and home-based, which means your dog gets the kind of individual attention and comfort that big boarding operations simply can't provide. Limited spots mean we know every dog by name and personality.
Experienced Handlers
The same team that leads our daily hiking and walking services manages our boarding program. Our handlers are trained in canine behavior and first aid, and they already know many of our boarding dogs from regular hiking clients. Your dog isn't handed off to a stranger — they're cared for by people they already trust.
Photo and Video Updates
Just like our hiking service, you'll get photos and videos throughout your dog's stay. You'll see them on the trail, playing, and relaxing — so you can enjoy your trip without worrying about what's happening back home.
Who This Is For
Our boarding service is designed for the same kinds of dogs and families we already serve through hiking and walking:
- Active dogs who would go stir-crazy in a traditional boarding kennel
- Social dogs who love pack dynamics and thrive with other dogs around
- Families who travel and want their dog to have a genuinely good time while they're away — not just survive until pickup
- Existing Adventure Pack clients who already trust our team and want consistency for their dog
If your dog is the type who lights up when they see our van pull into the driveway for their regular hike, they're going to love boarding with us.

Frequently Asked Questions — Dog Boarding
When will boarding be available?
We're finalizing the details now. Waitlist members will be the first to hear when we have a launch date. Sign up above to stay in the loop.
How much will boarding cost?
Pricing is being finalized. Because daily trail hikes are included, our boarding rate reflects the premium, adventure-based experience. Waitlist members will receive pricing details before public launch.
Can my dog board even if they're not a regular hiking client?
Yes, but we'll need to do a meet and greet and potentially a few trial hikes first to make sure your dog is comfortable with our pack dynamics and trail environment. Existing hiking clients will have a smoother transition since we already know their dog.
How long can my dog board?
We'll accommodate stays ranging from overnight to multi-week trips. The daily adventure schedule stays the same regardless of the length of stay.
What if my dog has special needs or dietary requirements?
We handle it. Medications, specific feeding schedules, supplements, allergies — we follow your instructions exactly. We'll go over all of this during the intake process.
